God doesn't want us to go through this life alone.  We will walk with families going through this difficult season to ensure they feel community, feel loved and cared for.

After spending almost three months in the hospital, one thing that lifted Kathryn's spirits more than anything were the visits from child life nurses.  The problem was they didn't work on the weekend.  Hospital outreach will be providing uplifting visits with a K9, arts, crafts, gifts...anything to lift the spirits of the family.  Additionally, the weekends were a very disappointing time because there is a very little chance of discharge, so morale was low as the weekends got closer.  Your donation will allow us to put a special focus on providing these visits on weekends, when spirits seemed to be the lowest.
